Heritage placed in the hands of the next voice.
To bring exceptional classical music to audiences across Europe — and to use it to bridge cultures.
The Beitan Music Foundation brings exceptional classical music to European audiences, gives emerging artists a stage, and lets music, poetry and art speak across cultures.
Established by the acclaimed Latvian-born cellist Max Beitan, the foundation is rooted in the Swiss-Italian region, with a close association to the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano. We partner with historic cultural institutions to stage cross-cultural events around the enduring power of music.

Our Founder
The Beitan Music Foundation is driven by the vision of Max Beitan, an acclaimed Latvian-born cellist. Drawing on his experience and deep connections within the Swiss-Italian musical landscape, he uses the foundation to champion classical music and support the next generation of global artistic excellence.
